I am Matarii, the little eyes in your sky, Rumia. When I appear above you, rejoice, for Mother Earth and Moana share all their riches with you.

The season is one of abundance and sharing. The season is one of rejoicing. Creation blesses its people with all its riches.

In Moorea, on November 22, 2025, take a little time out of your day to welcome Matarii-i-nia. Plant a new tree at home to give thanks to Creation. Harvest your first fruits or tubers and share them with your neighbor. Celebrate Matarii-i-nia in this way, so that abundance will always be part of our lives.

We will clean up around the trees that have already been planted. And around 10 a.m., we will thank each other for this wonderful work by sharing fruit and food prepared to celebrate Matarii-i-nia.
